Russell Nesbitt Services is my current employer. They provide care for people with disabilities. This is a mockup I made for the anniversary website.
Personally, I find the work at Russell Nesbitt very meaningful. The hand and the butterfly illustrate that point.
Soldat Forums is a rather small community of gamers who play the game Soldat (meaning "Soldier" in Polish) by Michal Marcinkowski. The challenge of this project was to move the forums from a server powered by ASP to PHP, and to create a new theme to complement the transition.
Soldat Forums beforehand
The layout was designed by the specifications of the team assigned to work with me. They included staff members from the U.K., Germany, Finland and various other countries. Working with them was a great learning experience.
ILOA is a Soldat clan formed by Leo Szeto. My assignment was to create a forum with website artwork suitable for their clan homepage. After some initial thought, I chose punBB, a minimalistic PHP bulletin board sytem.
Robocolt is a robotics club affiliated with FIRST--For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. Every year, the club has six weeks to design and build a robot that fulfills certain requirements and accomplishes specific goals. FIRST comes up with a new game every year; the challenge lies in creating a robot that will succeed in the game within the allotted time. Not only does this promote creativity and engineering and teach valuable skills, it also provides the teenangers an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the areas of mechanical and electrical engineering.
